1. Acceptance of Terms
By leaving your device(s) with iQ Repairs (hereafter “the Shop”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
2. Device Assessment & Diagnostics
A non-refundable diagnostic fee may apply, which will be waived if you proceed with the repair.
After assessment, we will provide a repair quote. No work will begin without your approval.
Unclaimed devices may be subject to a daily storage fee after 14 days of notification.
3. Repair Process & Limitations
While we take utmost care, we cannot guarantee that your device will be restored to its exact pre-damage condition.
Some repairs may affect manufacturer warranty or waterproofing (where applicable).
We are not responsible for existing or future software issues unrelated to the hardware repair.
All repair should have comes with free 14 days warranty. This can be extended upon request with a fixed cost.
4. Data & Privacy
BACKUP YOUR DATA BEFORE REPAIR. We are not responsible for any data loss during the repair process.
By authorising repair, you confirm that you own the device or have permission to have it serviced.
We will not access your personal data except as necessary for testing the repair.
5. Parts & Warranty
Parts may be new, refurbished, or used, depending on availability and your approval.
We provide 14 days warranty on repairs (parts and labor), excluding:
Physical or liquid damage after repair.
Issues unrelated to the original repair.
Devices tampered with by another service provider.
Warranty is void if the device is opened or modified by anyone else after our repair.
6. Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the repair or the current market value of the device, whichever is less.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (e.g., loss of income, data, or use).
If a device is deemed beyond economical repair, we may return it unrepaired or offer a disposal option.
7. Unclaimed Devices
Devices not collected within 30 days after final notification may be considered abandoned. We reserve the right to dispose of or sell the device to recover costs, after reasonable attempt to contact you.
8. Payment
Full payment is due upon completion of repair, before collection.
We accept Bank transfers or card payment.
Additional charges may apply if new issues are discovered during repair, subject to your approval.
9. Cancellation
You may cancel a repair at any time before work begins, though diagnostic fees may still apply. Once parts are ordered, cancellation may incur a restocking fee.
10. Miscellaneous
We reserve the right to refuse service.
These terms may be updated without prior notice; current version will always be posted in-shop and online.
Any dispute shall be registered within the store premises first before escalating further.
